PAMELA MANNING

PAMELA MANNING 10/17/1976 - 08/09/2025 Pamela K. Manning, 48, passed away surrounded by loved ones at HopeHealth Hospice Center in Providence, R.I., on Saturday, August 9 after a courageous 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Pam leaves her beloved husband of 17 years, Patrick B. Manning; two wonderful sons, Patrick and Justin, her mother, Sandy Anderson of Fargo, N.D., father Jeffrey Anderson and his wife Maria of Montevideo, two siblings, eight nephews and three nieces. Pam grew up in Montevideo and was a 1995 graduate of Montevideo High School where she was a three sport athlete including all-state softball player. On top of that, she found time to play the flute in the school's marching band. She then attended University of Minnesota, Mankato graduating in 2000. From there she went on to attend New England College of Optometry in Boston where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry in 2004. She spent the bulk of her career practicing at Worcester Ophthalmology Associates in Worcester, Mass. She was also a member of Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and past executive board member. Funeral Services will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 12 with reception to follow at the VFW.
