Radcliff, KY
Federico M.V. Tamayo, U.S. Army Lt. Col. Retired, 70, of Radcliff, KY, passed away on, 11 November 2018. He graduated from Seaside High School.
He attended Santa Clara University completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Fred paved the way at Santa Clara University for his sister, Cpt. Rita M.K. Tamayo, U.S. Army Military Police. She became the first female ROTC University Commander in the nation.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederic Tamayo; his mother, Prsicilla Velez Tamayo, his sister, Rita M.K. Tamayo and Baby Tamayo.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Morton Tamayo and a daughter, Dr. Kelsey Tamayo and her husband Jonathan.

Fred was always an honorable and humble man. He was a pleasure to visit as he had such a unique perspective and great sense of humor. BJ took great care for so long making his life much easier. He will be missed.
