Frank Enkosky Obituary

Frank Enkosky
December 12, 1919 ~ October 27, 2007

PEBBLE BEACH – I lost my beloved husband of 62 years and life will never be the same without his love, romance, kindness and generosity.
Frank was born in Los Angeles and moved his family to Pebble Beach from Carlsbad, CA in 1964. He has been a photographer all his life. He served as a photographer in the U.S. Navy for three years, worked at Douglas Aircraft as a photographer and retired from his own business, Coast Photo Service, in 2001. Frank was a 50-year member of the Monterey Elks Lodge and enjoyed bowling, poker, fishing and traveling.
Frank leaves his bride, Janice; his daughters, Judy Philips and Jill Ellison; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly, and his beloved dog, Skipper. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother and sister.
A Memorial Service and Reception will be held at the Chapel Room of Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 3. Any contributions in Frank's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1475 S. Bascom, Campbell, CA 95009; Hospice of the Central Coast, P.O. Box HH, Monterey 93942 or to the Animal Friends Rescue Project, 560 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove 93950. Dear Janice,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband. Although I never had the privilege of meeting him, I have heard only the highest praise of his fine character.
There is no doubt that his passing will be a great loss to all who knew him.
Sincerely,

Jan,
I spent a lot of time at your house with Zack, when we were in high school. I would like to express my condolences and assure you that you and Frank are in my thoughts and prayers. He was a good man and I feel lucky to have known him.
Yours truly,
Scott Russell

There are no words Jan to express how much you and Frank have meant to us through the years. One of my favorite pictures of Kelly was when she was sitting on Frank's shoulders to watch the Olympic torch go by Monroe's shop. From forget-me-nots on the pool table to countless dinners and champagne. All times of joy and good friends and family. Not only that but Frank was the only one who found fewer eggs than I did! We all love you. Marcy

Dear Sweet Jan, Franks Bride,

It just broke our heart to hear of Frank's passing. You and Frank were such a beauitful couple and such an inspiration to us. We all had such wonderful times over at Monore and Ivy's house with all the gang like Helen and Ernie, and us hairdressers from Ivy's and during the superbowl and all the pools we used to get on. Such fun times on the bus trips to Reno and Frank getting up and telling all his wonderful jokes and stories and always calling you, the love of his life "My Bride". Jan, May all these wonderful memories and even more help to sustain you and keep you in Franks loving arms forever. Frank will live on in you heart always, and know he took your love with him as well. God Bless you Jan.
All of our love to you dear one,
Gary and Sandi Ellis
