It breaks my heart to learn of John's passing. He and I, along with many others, passed many happy hours belting out songs at Hilltop. He always said to me, "Boy, you can really pump 'em out!" John loved to sing and knew all the words to all the oldies. I so looked forward to his presence at our songfests. What a wonderful man, and what a tragic loss. I will miss him greatly.

To Gerd and The Waldroup Family,
I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I know he will be sorely missed by everyone. I recall meeting him when he and Gerd met. What a great man, so full of life and always prim and proper with a signature bowtie. May God Bless all of you as you embark through this difficult time. Gerd, "The Desert" welcomes your visit anytime. With Sincere Condolences and Love, Kay
