PEBBLE BEACH - Loran Loyal Speck was born in Stockton, California on December 16, 1943. He passed peacefully on September 16, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his brother and two sisters; son, David Shawn Speck; daughter, Lora Speck-Clarke; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a public memorial on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Loran Speck Gallery, 6th and Dolores, Carmel, CA. Funeral arrangements are by Alta Vista Mortuary. To offer online condolences, please visit: www.altavistamortuary.com.
