Lynn Edward Epps Obituary
January 20, 1946 ~ August 20, 2008
SALINAS, CA – Lynn Edward Epps, 62, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at home. Lynn was born in Sanger, CA on January 20, 1946.
He was a retired Pest Control Supervisor for Western Exterminators retiring in 2005.
He loved going to NASCAR Races. Lynn also loved spending his retirement fishing and camping. Lynn was known by his family as the greatest fisherman, always on the lookout for "The Big One". He enjoyed spending his mornings reading the paper and handing out doggie treats to his dogs.
Lynn is survived by his wife of 41 years, Roberta (Bobbie) Epps of Salinas; daughters, Debbie (David) Leatherman, and Marsha Epps (Kelly) Gularte; mother, Ozelma Epps and father, Dee Epps, all of Salinas; his sister, Darlene (Pat) Fitzpatrick of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Jaymi Gularte, Alex Leatherman and Spencer Leatherman; and numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 11:00am in the Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Memorials are suggested to: The SPCA for Monterey County, P.O. Box 3058, Monterey, CA 93940 or American Cancer Society, 945 S. Main St., Salinas, CA 93901.
