Matthew Clay Rohr passed away on May 31, 2022. Matt was born July 12, 1958, to Ron and Judith (O'Rear) Rohr in Monterey, CA.
Matt was a graduate of Salinas High School's class of 1976. He was the third generation owner of Matt's Generator Service in Seaside, CA. Matt was a lifetime member of the Salinas Ramblers Motorcycle Club as well as a member of the Carmel Associate Sportsman.
Matt's passion from a young age was riding motorcycles. This ranged from dirt track racing, vintage motocross, to off road riding in Clear Creek and Nevada. He also enjoyed shooting clay targets in Trap and Skeet.
Matt is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Alec (Julia) and Geena; mother, Judith; sisters, Pam and Cindy; and brother Ronnie.
Matt was preceded by his father, Ron.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 14, at 12 pm at the Sheriff's Posse Grounds (395 Old Natividad Rd, Salinas, CA), followed by lunch. All are welcome. Offer online condolences at www.healeymortuary.com.
