Nilo Caballero Navarro February 20, 1949 ~ September 27, 2004 SEASIDE - Nilo C. Navarro was born February 20, 1949 in Badian Cebu, Philippines. Nilo went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2004 at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula at the age of 55. He formerly worked at Carmel Valley Ranch, and was a retired Supervisor at the Department of Health in the Philippines. He loved to watch sports and spend time with his two grandchildren. He leaves behind his beloved wife Maria Rowena for 29 years. His children, Nilma, Manilyn, Ronilo, Nelson, Rue-neil, Ronnie and grandchildren Mary Angel Navarro and Joshua Ramirez, all in Seaside; his mother Juana Navarro; brother and sisters Stella Vilas, Felicito Navarro, Theresa Gabutan, Elnor Carino, Jaime navarro, Consolatrix Ihao, Mario Navarro, all in the Philippines. He was predeceased by his father, Federico Navarro. He also had many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-laws and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 1pm-7pm at Mission mortuary in Monterey. Funeral Mass will be held at San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey on Wednesday, October 6 at 9:30am. He will be buried in the Philippines.
