Virginia Klepich Obituary

Virginia Klepich
Oct 5, 1929 - July 22, 2015
Carmel, CA
On July 22, 2015 Virginia Klepich went to her eternal reward in Heaven, following a brief illness at CHOMP. Virginia was born on October 5, 1929 in San Francisco, California. She was raised in Red Lodge, Montana and was a graduate of Carbon County High School. Following High School she was employed as a telephone operator at the local phone company in Red Lodge.
On July 31, 1948 Virginia married her true love, Tony Klepich in Red Lodge. In 1955 the family moved to Carmel so Tony could assist his brother in establishing Carmel Craft Studios. Shortly thereafter Tony opened Tony's Frame Shop in Carmel and Virginia assisted him in the frame shop until she became the secretary at the Carmel Mission. Virginia was a proud parent and booster of both Junipero Serra Grade School in Carmel and Junipero Memorial High. Following retirement, Virginia and her husband enjoyed traveling and walking along Carmel Beach.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband in 2011. Virginia is survived by son, Anthony and wife, Marlene; son, John and wife, Cynthia; son, Fred and wife, Carol; daughter, Maria and husband, Fred; and grandson, Matthew.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at the Carmel Mission. Interment will be in Red Lodge, Montana.
