I met Abe through his sister, Christine, a dear friend of mine, while we were living in San Diego. We became fast friends. We spent lots of time together back then. He was an honorable man with a gentle soul, always kind and willing to lend a helping hand any way he could. I will miss his smile and caring nature.
Rest in peace, dear friend. Study war no more for the troubles of this world have passed.
My deepest condolences and most sincere best wishes to his family in this their time of sorrow and grief.

"I am the Way and the Truth, and the Light, no one comes to the Father except through me." Jn 14:6
Abe knew our Lord and praised and worshiped him and so I know he is now in the Kingdom. Through the forgiveness of Our Lord, Abe, like all of us, can be counted as one of God's favorite children. Abe was a wonderful, loving, caring man who gave much and asked little. We will never forget Abe's acts of kindness: helping Mom with her yard and planting potted plants and flowers that always brightened mom's face with a smile. He always made himself available to help move a piece of furniture or just come over to visit on the porch to keep mom company. We'll also remember Abe's sweet tooth and how he enjoyed just about any of our family's Mexican cooking. We'll never forget Abe's good nature and his words of care and kindness to all. We miss seeing him standing in front of his apartment waving at passers by and holding court with so many of the locals who knew and loved spending time with him. We love you, Abe, and await our journey to join you in heaven! Love and prayers always, Norma, Lauren, Dennis, and Osito Beaman
