Eclectic - Johnson, Mr. Andrew Jackson, age 93, a resident of Eclectic, AL died on January 6, 2018 at the V.A. Home in Pell City, AL. Mr. Johnson was born on April 2, 1924 to the late George Buckner Johnson and the late Minnie Hubbard Johnson. He was a WW II veteran serving in the United States Army and was the owner of George B. Johnson Hardware in Eclectic. He was preceded in death by his twin brother who died at infancy, 2 brothers, also WWII veterans, 3 sisters, and 1 nephew. Survivors include nephews and nieces, Stan Plant, Randy (Susan) Plant, Nona (Rodney) Davis and Sylvia (Ray) Worley; great nephews and niece, Hans (Kristi) Pettit, Joshua (Amber) Pettit, and Elizabeth Plant; great great nieces and nephews, Karson, Chappel, Tatum, Thatcher, Avery, and Jackson Buckner Pettit. Funeral services will be at the Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Evans officiating the service, Keith Hibbs, pianist and Amy Hibbs, singer. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Eclectic, AL with military honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
