Cleveland "Skippy" Barnett

Mt. Meigs - Mr. Cleveland "Skippy" Barnett, 73, a resident of Mt. Meigs, AL expired May 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Sprott Drive. Interment in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories two sisters, Icie Barnett, Mt. Meigs, AL and Dorothy Moye, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; three brothers, William (Minnie) Barnett Sr., Mt. Meigs, AL; Johnny (Fannie) Barnett, Mt. Meigs, AL; one uncle, Joseph Johnson, Rochester, NY; one aunt, Henrietta Green, Montgomery, AL; one sister-in-law, Shirley Barnett (wife of Silver Jr), Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; also left to cherish his memories a devoted niece, Rachel Barnett, Montgomery, AL; two nephews, Stanford Barnett II, Waugh, AL and Duane Barnett, Prattville, AL; host of nephews, nieces and friends to include two special friends, Mary Walthall, Montgomery, AL; and Alma Waston, Montgomery, AL. Thanks to his devoted caregivers William and Minnie Barnett and his niece, Rechel Barnett. Lastly his wonderful caregivers, Comfort Care Hospice, Father Michael Smith and patient care coordinator, Debbie Smith, Saint Luke Drive, Montgomery, AL.

Skippy, I enjoyed taking you with me when you was a little boy... very obedience..felt so proud wearing your little ball cap. you were very interested in the busy ants and butterflies.
