Jamari Williams Obituary
Master Jamari Williams, a resident of Montgomery, AL, received his angel wings on October 11, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 noon from Mobile Heights Baptist Church, 2012 Mobile Road, Montgomery, AL, with Pastor Filbert Martin officiating. Interment will be held at Eastwood Cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. The body of Jamari will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to funeral service at the church.

Monique and family,
On this 7th year that marks Jamari's transition from this life, I am remembering him with love. I know that he is still dancing and being jubilant! No matter what, always know that you will see Jamari again soon! He is being well taken care of. He would be a senior this year so the class of 2025 will be missing a star!

Hi Monique and family! Remembering Jamari isn't a hard task at all. His mother has been brave and vigilant in keeping his name and spirit with us all and I commend her for that! For me, Jamari represents and embodies what a great life could have been and what the world has lost because he was headed for greatness! His picture hangs on the wall in my classroom and my son and I speak of him often. He was two grades behind Jamari at the same school Jamari attended. We still visit his grave from time to time. Kids, ALWAYS know that you're loved by the ultimate giver of LOVE, Jesus Christ and know that He always answers prayers! He's your best friend, He'll never leave you nor forsake you! Just call His name, try Him and see! Stay in His word and read your Bible EVERY DAY!! Develop an intimate relationship with Him and He will direct your path, eliminate your fears, and remove ALL doubt. Go to HIM. HE WILL WORK IT OUT!!!
As this October 11th marks the 4th year since you departed this life, we miss you Jamari! We still pray for you Monique & family & God Bless you!

To Jamari's Family,
I never met Jamari myself, but his story has touched the deepest parts of my soul. I, too, spent my childhood at Tonya Speed's Dance Connection as the resident Michael Jackson fan. Jamari and I shared that and an absolute love of dance. For that reason, I feel a kindred spirit has been lost. I have perused YouTube and seen videos of Jamari performing with Tonya Speed's - boy, could he light up the stage!
Family, I hope you will rest assured that Jamari is dancing on streets of gold today, with the brightest of smiles and the biggest of wings. Earth's loss was Heaven's gain. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jamari was a beautiful fun loving child that my son and I have been blessed to know since kindergarten. We will miss his gentle smile, his love of friends and funny launch to Jupiter when playing soccer. Monique and Jerome, I pray that Flights of Angels have flown him to his rest and that the pure note of Gabrielle's horn signaled his entry into the gates of Heaven.
I know he is dancing on a golden street.

One day Jamari came to me and told me " Senora Casalduc, here you go" And he handed me a one dollar coin. I said:" that;s nice, save it so you wont loose it" he said: no is for you I want you to have it" I was surprised didn't know what to do but I accepted it and told him " It will be here in my drawer just in case you wanted back" He was happy and went back to his seat. Every single time he came to my Spanish class and asked me for the coin and I had to show to him and every time i said:" you see! I still have it here" and again he was happy and gave me a smile. I still have that coin, it happens that the coin is to big to fit in my dolphin coin bank so I kept it half in half out. So I have treasured that coin that I get to see everyday. Monique, that coins means a lot for me but if you send me your address Ill be more than happy to mailed to you because I know it meant a lot for him... miss him dearly, our little Angel is now smiling next to God... What a talented and shining star! I was so impressed with this young man's talent last Monday night at Montgomery County's Distinguished Young Woman pageant. He was such an awesome dancer! He must be really dancing on the streets of gold in Heaven! I have been praying for all of his family and friends. While I don't know you all personally, I have been a part of the Bear family since 2005. I just can't imagine what you are going through. I have been praying for you all and will continue to do so. Maybe God comfort your heart as only He can do.
