JAMES POUNCEY Obituary

POUNCEY, James Thurstern, 98, a resident of Montgomery died Friday, February 22, 2008. Graveside services will be Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Cemetery with ReverendJames Bozeman officiating. Visitation will be at Leak-Memory Chapel on Sunday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM. Mr. Pouncey was a carpenter and built numerous homesand businesses throughout the tri-county area. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Bozeman Pouncey; brother, William Racverne Pouncey; and sister, Vera Edith Pouncey. Survivors include his son, James R. Pouncey; granddaughters, Belinda Bush and husband Richard and Michelle Freeman and husband Brian; great-grandchildren, Maegan Humphries and husband, Brian, Buddy Bush and Haley Freeman; great-greatgrandchild, Mason Humphries; brothers, Curtis and Jack Pouncey; and sister Ethel Baldwin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deatsville Baptist Church, Building Fund, PO Box 220405, Deatsville, AL 36022. Pallbearers will be Richard Bush, Brian Freeman, Buddy Bush and Brian Humphries. LEAK-MEMORY CHAPEL DIRECTING
