Funeral services will beheld at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at DexterAvenue King Memorial Baptist Church, with Rev. MichaelThurman, Pastor, officiating.Interment will be at Greenwood Serenity Gardens Cemetery, Montgomery, Alabama, with E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. He leaves to cherish hismemories, a loving and devoted wife, Patricia Montgomery Boyer; two daughters, Lori Patrice Boyer of Lubbock, Texas and Kelli DeniseBoyer of Alexandria, Virginia;one son, Kevin Dugliss Boyerof Birmingham, Alabama;two sisters, Minnie BoyerWoodruff of Orlando, Floridaand Edythe Boyer Jones ofOrangeburg, South Carolina;two brothers, Clem Boyer (Juanita) of Maitland, Floridaand James Boyer (Edna) ofManhattan, Kansas; mother-in-law, Jean M. Johnson ofMontgomery, Alabama;brothers-in-law, Ernie Montgomery (Valda) of Montgomery, AL and Arnold Montgomery of Washington, D.C.; sister-in-law, Gloria Boyer of Amherst, MA; cherished friends,Annette Oliver Drew (James)of Fort Washington, Maryland;and a host of other relativesand very devoted friends. TheAlpha Phi Alpha Omega Service will be held on Tuesday,August 4, 2009, from 6:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. from E. G. Cummings Memorial FuneralHome Chapel. Family members may be contactedthrough Patricia M.
