I had my second dream of you John last night. It was so good to see your smiling wondrous face. I've been thinking of you all day today and I really wish I could see you and talk to you. I loved talking to you and will always remember our precious dates in Troy and you coming by the office and saying hello and seeing that sweet smile of yours which I will always always adore forever. You were the one man I could always come to when I needed someone, I love you John forever....

John, you taught me what true love really was. I've reminisced on our past so much these past few days. I feel so blessed that God put such a wonderful man in my life seven years ago. You have crossed my mind so many times since you passed away and I can't help but wonder what might've been if we stayed together. I enjoy thinking about our years together and what a great man you were. It rained today, and afterwards I saw a small rainbow in the sky. I feel like that was a sign that you were looking down on me. I will forever miss you, John David Easterling.

I have known you all through the years at Gold's working out as a family. Then John and I worked at Gold's part time for a while and then I would see him at Costco. I don't ever remember seeing him without a smile, and I remember how close he was to his family. I am so sorry for your loss- he was a great kid.

To John's family,
Love is eternal, it is not limited by time, Jesus heals those who are broken, because God's people are to rejoice when the brokenhearted and wounded comes to him.
Chronicles 16:34-35
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! for his mercy endures forever.
And say, save us, O God of salvation.
May your hearts be at peace during your time of sorrow, for it is written and spoken through all who knew him that John was truly loved by many...

my heart goes out to you Debbie, mike, drew and family I consider myself lucky to have known john , first at Montgomery American playing baseball (including the year he played along side his older brother drew who he was so proud of) later as my student in driver education and stopping to talk to him at costo where he would share with me his plans for college and after. it was just over a week and half ago that I talked to john for the last time . as usual he was trimming and cutting grass in front of his neighborhood with that big smile of his, we chatted for about 5 minutes then we said good bye to each other. I will miss john and I will always think of him when I drive down Vaughn rd and see the entrance to his neighborhood where I saw him for the last time .rest in peace john
