Joseph Broadnax Obituary

BROADNAX, Sr., Joseph C., a resident of Montgomery, Al, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Jackson Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from Mitylene Missionary Baptist Church, 6650 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery, AL at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Terry James officiating. The body will remain in repose from 10:00-11:00 prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Brassell Cemetery. He is survived by his loving wife, Leola M. Broadnax of 49 years; his daughter, Gretchen Y. Broadnax-Smith, step-son Raphoel R. Brown, six grandchildren, Joyiquin M. Smith, Rodney K. Smith, Drayton T. Smith, Kelahni N. Smith, Roxana Williams and Ebony Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Family visitation will be 6-7 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel.
