JOSEPHINE SADLER Obituary

Josephine Hudson Sadler, 97, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Sadler was born, November 17, 1914 in Flomaton, AL and was a long time resident of Montgomery. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and was a life long member of the First Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school for many years. Mrs. Sadler is preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings, her husband, Joseph P. Sadler and her grandson, Will Grubbs (Jennifer). Survivors include: sons Joseph H. Sadler, (Evelyn), John Sadler (Babs) and daughter Jane Sadler Grubbs (Bill); grandchildren, Wesley Sadler (Joy), David Sadler, Amy Grubbs, Leigh Sadler and Lindsey Sadler; great grandchildren, Hudson Sadler, Jordan Sadler, Chance Sadler, and Catherine Grubbs. A visitation will be held in Montgomery, AL at Leak Memory Chapel at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, followed by a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Dr. Dale Huff will officiate. Pallbearers are; Wesley Sadler, David Sadler, Hudson Sadler, Jordan Sadler, Bobby Grubbs and Charles Renfroe. Honorary Pallbearer; Ramon Sadler. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 305 South Perry Street, Montgomery, AL 36104.
