Larry Deutschendorf Obituary
Deutschendorf, Mr. Larry Dale, age 79, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on August 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
He is survived by his wife Ruby P. Deutschendorf, daughter Kerry Plank, sons Ed Deutschendorf, Dean Deutschendorf, step son Steve Brooks, brothers Paul Deutschendorf, Dave Deutschendorf, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and the apple of his eye his granddaughter Isabelle Brooks.He was a avid golfer and a retired accounts manager in the petroleum business.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millbrook Fire Department in his memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Thursday, August 4, 2016.

I never said this due to the fact I never really coped well with this, or the loss of my grandfather, and I hope any family members that do see this know I loved him dearly but never knew how to show it, 4 years ago I lost the only person who understood me and that was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through and am still dealing with, he was an amazing person and made me want to be an even better human, he understood me better than anyone ever had, I miss him every single day. I hope anyone who may see this is okay right now dealing with the loss of him, you’re doing great and I love youfly high granddaddy I miss you so much
