LEE MERIWETHER Obituary

MERIWETHER, Lee Wilkerson, Junior, age 75 died after an extended il-lness on March 31, 2003. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednes-day, April 2, 2003 at First United Me-thodist Church with Bishop Paul Duf-fey and Dr. Karl Stegall officiating. Burial services will follow at Green-wood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Betty S. Meriwether; daughter, Elizabeth M. Strickland and her husband Keith B. Strick-land; son, Lee W. Meriwether, III and his wife Carrie M. Meriwether; five granddaughters, Stephanie E. Strickland, Ashlee M. Strickland, Caroline P. Meriwether, Elizabeth Anne Meriwether and Catherine L. Meriwether. Pallbearers will be George F. Bailey, Harry M. Barnes, Reese Bricken, David Dunlap, Dr. Bruce Holding, Wylie D. Pound-stone, James M. Rittenour and John P. Scheiwe. Honorary Pallbearers will be Norman W. Gayle, Dr. Emer-son Johnson and Dr. William D. Smith. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund or Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.Leak-Memory Chapel Directing
