LUCILLE WERKING Obituary

WERKING, Lucille, 82, a resident of Montgomery went to be with her husband, Wilbur P. Werking, in Heaven on April 15, 2006. She was the daughter of Grover Cleveland Walls and Bessie Adam Walls, both deceased of Mount Vernon, Indi-ana. She is survived by her son, Paul D. Werking and his wife, Don-na Shaw Werking; grandson, David Werking and wife, LaConte; and great grandchildren, David Tyler and Indya. Mrs. Werking was ac-tive in both campaigns of the late Govenor George C. Wallace and late Govenor Lurleen B. Wallace. Mrs. Werking was also very active in public education serving as past President of the Montgomery Coun-ty Council of PTA's. She was a member of the McGhee Road Bap-tist Church. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 11:00 am from Greenwood Cemetery with White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home direct-ing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society. White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home Directing
