MARK CHESNUTT Obituary

CHESNUTT, Mark Reville, 55, a na-tive of Montgomery, AL, died Satur-day, January 11, 2003. Mr. Chesnutt was the owner of museuMedia and past long time employee of Na-tional Industries and the late Ben Collier. He was nominated for 3 Pu-litzer Prizes for photojournalism, a member of the Gamma Beta and Alpha Sigma Lambda National Ho-nor Societies. He was a member of the Air National Guard. In the past he held numerous underwater div-ing records. He was a very talented musician and had many bluegrass friends. He is survived by his wife, Deborah R. Green of Montgomery, AL; Ms. Green's children, St. Jon Gauthier of Chicago, IL, B.J. Green of Mobile, AL and Thomas Green of Nashville, TN; stepmother, Jane W. Chesnutt of Montgomery, AL. His father was the late Curtis Chesnutt. He is also survived by aunts, Eliza-beth C. Smith, Mae Russian, both of Montgomery, AL and Sarah Ches-nutt of Hope Hull, AL; numerous cousins including Jill Brantley of Montgomery, AL and Mary Mittag of Dallas, TX. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with Reverend Margaret Shepard offici-ating. Burial will follow in Green-wood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rod Sanders, Bill Berry, David Da-singer, Mike Mason, Bob Davis and John Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dave Wilfing, Noble Brown, Ben Williams, Robert Fowler, Phil Mann, Ed Montoya, Jimmy Loftin, Bart Sanders, Ed Pickett and Steve Clark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brantwood Chil-dren's Home.White Chapel-GreenwoodFuneral Home Directing
