DUNNING, Robert Glenn, Sr.,departed from his earthly lifeon January 16, 2008 to seekhis reward in heaven. Funeralservices will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at10:30 A.M. at Whitfield Memorial United Methodist Churchwith Dr. Robbins Sims and RevTom Sheppard officiating.Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. He was bornnear Orrville, Alabama, onMarch 30, 1928, and was thefifth child of James Floyd Dunning, Sr., and Minnie BarnesDunning. His survivors includehis wife, Carolyn A. Dunning;daughter, Dr. Lisa Tucker, Pensacola, Florida; stepdaughter, Shelli Morrow (Bob), Roswell, Georgia; grandchildren,Allan and Sarah Tucker, Pensacola, Florida, and Alex andRyan Morrow, Roswell, Georgia; brother, Richard AlfredDunning (Shirley), Guntersville, Alabama; and a sisterJenella D. Stacey (Foye), DeLeon Springs, Florida; manybeloved nieces and nephews. His son Robert GlennDunning, Jr., preceded him indeath. He was employedover forty years with the Algernon Blair organizationand rose from clerk-typist toVice President-Finance and aDirector. He was a life-longmember of the United Methodist Church and served in anumber of positions in the local church. Visitation will beheld from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30A.M. at the church. In lieu offlowers the family requeststhat contributions be made toyour church or favorite charity.
