Robert Nobles Obituary
Robert Herschel Nobles born on September 8, 1950 was called home to be with our Lord on October 20, 2020 at the age of 70 years old.
He will be sadly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Amanda Nobles, his grandchildren Evan and Kerissa, as well as his son Micah Nobles. Also left to remember him fondly are his sisters Sybil Haster and Wilsie Johnson, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held October 24, 2020 at Leak Memory Chapel at 10AM with services to follow along with a private burial.

When Mr. Robert lived in the downtown area he used to enjoy walking all around downtown and visiting with people that he would meet on his long daily walks, all around the downtown area. I met him one day, not long after I started a new job with the City a few years ago, on Washington Ave, when he stopped by our building on his daily stroll. After that day he would stop by my office almost every day, until he moved away last year. He always had a smile and a laugh for me to brighten my day, and sometimes he'd bring me a banana pudding he'd made, or a surprise lunch from Mama's Sack Lunch around the corner. We would have talks during his visit about our families, religion, and whatever big topics of the day were in the news. I have missed seeing him on his walks since he moved away last year, and am sad to know his joyous spirit is no longer with us on this earth.
Rest in peace Mr. Robert and may God bless your family and comfort them as they go through this time of loss.
