Brenda C. Winn

Brenda C. Winn, of Franconia Twp., formerly of Perkasie, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twp., PA. Together again, Mrs. Winn is celebrating Valentine’s Day with her beloved husband of 30 years, the late Dr. Charles L. Winn, who died in 2003. Born in Sellersville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Max William and Helen (Bergstresser) Cummings. A 1960 graduate of Southern Lehigh High School, she volunteered as a “candy striper” for Grand View Hospital during her late teen years. She went on to earn her nursing degree at Grand View School of Nursing in 1963. Mrs. Winn was employed as a Registered Nurse for Grand View Hospital for 25 years, prior to her retirement in 1987. Mrs. Winn was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ in Perkasie. She loved traveling with her nursing school classmates, gardening, and online shopping. She is survived by a stepson, Robert M. Winn and his partner Jackie Leasure of Perkasie, two stepdaughters: Cheryl Winn Royer and her husband Eric of North Carolina, Patricia Winn Crossland and her husband Gary of Furlong, six grandchildren: Allison, Justin, Heather, Luke, Ashley, Kelley, two great grandchildren: Wyatt and Jax, two brothers: Robert Cummings and his wife Mary of Quakertown, and Larry Cummings of Quakertown, a nephew, Chris Cummings and his wife Megan Miller, two nieces: Lisen Godshall and her husband Phil, Susan Ruiz and her husband Rigo her great niece, Kalea, and three great nephews: Tripp, Makai and David. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Flo Cummings. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 11:30 AM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, PA 18969. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Souderton, PA. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
