A great friend we grew up together on Nedro Avenue our love for fast carswill always remember Ford Mustang Boss 302 1972 and my Camaro Chevy 1969 350 Hillary will truly be missed I am so sorry I'm just finding out. JANICE u had a wonderful brother. I am glad l got to know you , your mom dad and Hip a true friend.God bless his wife and daughter Real Men stand tall u had the best.

Hillary was a very dear friend of mine from Sun Oil ...We had many enjoyable times together while he was working there in the Safety department and after he left we kept in contact.......He used to holler at me cause i still used snail mail and not E-mail......mY sympathies are with you and all the family and i shall always remember him fondly and will say prayers for him....

Renetta and Yvette, I am very sorry of Hiliary's passing. He loved to make people laugh. He was also very kind and extended his kindness & knowledge of automobiles to me when my car broke down during a golf outing which we both attended for work. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I was actually Hillary's replacement at OSHA when he left the Agency for the private sector. Hillary had an impeccable reputation within the Agency. I had the opportunity to work closely with Hillary through his continued work in the safety industry. Hillary's passing is both a professional and personal loss to the industry as well as myself. Hillary's contribution to the safety and health of the American worker will be his enduring legacy. He made differences and changed the lives of all who were fortunate to know him.

Hiliary and I met as colleagues at the U.S. Dept. of Labor - OSHA, and we became friends. My fondest memories of him are his love for his family, his concern and compassion for others, a commitment to help others improve their lives and his humorous and quick wit. Hiliary was a gentleman and truly a very nice person.

I am blessed to have had Hip as a friend and college-mate, and I am so glad I shared laughs with him at the NCCU v HU football game last year in DC! He will always be remembered as an "EAGLE LEADER" and as one whose family history runs deep in Durham and at NCCU! Most of all, he was a true friend. The world in which we live is diminished by the death of Hiliary.....truly a "gentle-man" of tremendous strength, courage, perseverance and commitment, and yet, what I will miss the most, I guess, is Hiliary's warm smile, his positive outlook and the grace with which he welcomed new people and experiences into his life.
