John Mueller

1929 - 2019

John W. Mueller, 89, of Blue Bell, died on January 2, 2019 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (Riley) Mueller. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 29, 1929 to the late Harold P. and Mary (Fischer) Mueller. John was a graduate of Jenkintown High School and Villanova University. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict achieving rank of Corporal. John was later employed as an architect and custom home builder for over 50 years. He enjoyed woodworking, model trains, gardening, and vacationing with family in Ocean City, NJ. He is survived by his 3 children Meredith Birchall and Craig of Harleysville, John W. Mueller, Jr. and Kathy of Hatboro, William N. Mueller and Erin of Collegeville, 9 grandchildren John III, Joseph, Jeffrey, Christopher, Craig, Christie, Noah, Madelyn and Chase, 1 great-granddaughter Natalie, a sister Marie Cochrane of Atlantic Beach, FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Harold P. “Buck” Mueller. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler. Interment private.
