I remember the gifts of homemade cookies and gifts she sent us when I was a small girl. It was always a wonderful time when she visited grandmaw Essie when she came home from her many travels. Aunt Oper was a wonderful part of my childhood and so were her children.

I enjoyed getting to know Oper when she visited in Anchorage at Nettie and Dan's...always interesting and lively conversations....a life well lived....and more journeys ahead.
