Phillip Marcus Obituary

Phillip R. Marcus Phillip R. Marcus, 51, of Norristown, formerly of Gwynedd Valley, died Feb. 21, 2011 in Suburban Woods, East Norriton. He was the husband of Christine (Salera) Marcus. Born in Lansdale he was a son of the late James William and Betty (Reed) Marcus. Mr. Marcus had worked as a self employed painter and also enjoyed being an auto mechanic. There was a mutual exchange of love between Phil and animals. Surviving with his wife are 2 daughters, Danielle and Delilah Marcus at home; 1 sister, Kathy E. Marcus of Lansdale and 2 brothers: Jan Marcus and his wife, Jeri, of Great Falls, MT and James A. Marcus of Lansdale and a nephew, James L. Marcus of Birdsboro. Relatives and friends may greet the family Sat., Feb. 26 after 2 PM and are invited to attend his memorial service at 3 PM in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to either the Montgomery Co. SPCA, P.O. Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428 or the American Heart Assn., 15120 Collection Center Dr., Chicago, IL 60693.

Phil was my first love. My first going steady. first slow dance, first jewlery.
I live in Maine and I am so sad to hear of his death. Bless his wife and daughters. I have nothing but good memories of him....My first 8th grade love.
