Skyler Kauffman Obituary
Born in West Rockhill Twp., she was the precious daughter of Heather Gebhard and Eric Kauffman of Souderton.
A third-grader at E.M. Crouthamel Elementary School in Souderton, Skyler loved to dance and took dance classes at the Marlyn Abramson School of Dance in Lansdale. She loved music, loved to swim and especially enjoyed summer camp at Camp Hopwood in Towamencin.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Pam Gebhard of Souderton, her maternal grandfather, Steve Gebhard of Pottstown, her paternal grandparents, Spencer and Carol Kauffman of Harleysville, her great grandfather, Wallace Huhn of Telford, her great grandmother Evelyn Gebhard of Pottstown, her great grandfather, Charles Gebhard, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Gladys Huhn.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 AM in the Calvary Church of Souderton, 820 Route 113, Souderton. Interment will follow in the Keller's Church Cemetery, Bedminster Twp. Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 5-8 PM in the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford. There will be no calling hours on Monday.

Heather, I don't know you and I didn't know your precious daughter but her story has touched our lives. My twin girls now go to EMC. They were born in March 2011. We met Skylar's grandpa by Grundy Manor on a walk one day and he shared about Skylar. My daughter checked a book out of EMC's library this week and it was dedicated to Skylar's memory. She keeps coming to mind. I will pray for you each time she does. I'm so sorry for the tragic loss of your sweet girl.

Hey Skyler, so what are you thinking about Heaven so far? Pretty awesome I'll bet! I feel sure, by everything I've read, and heard about you, that you're showing all the Other Little Angels the ropes-even though you've just recently arrived! Everyone misses you, and loves you very, very much Angel, and you will never, ever, be forgotten. Please send your family, and your friends some small signs, every now and then, to help them know that you're okay. And please send your Wisdom, and your Grace down here to help all of us-we really need it.

I had the privilage of caring for Skylar after school at General Nash Elementary before she moved to Souderton. Skylar was full of hugs and smiles everyday. I will always remember her taking my hand while walking in the hallway and many memorable conversations. She is truly missed by us all. May God keep you in his arms sweet girl.
