Altie was my neighbor and my friend. He was one of the nicest men I have ever known. Cool, calm, and a real good guy. I met Altie and Sandy when they first moved here and have enjoyed and valued their friendship all this time. Altie and I shared interests in history, reading, and the WSJ. I will miss him very much.
