Mindy Marie Doyal, 44, of Montrose, Colorado, passed away on October 10, 2024, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Born on November 6, 1979, in Denver, Colorado, Mindy was a vibrant person known for her generous spirit, infectious humor, and deep unwavering love for the Lord, her family and her dogs.
Most days, you could find Mindy snuggling on the couch with her two greatest loves, Gracie "Goo" and Bentley "Boop," planning her next adventure, or bossing her sister around in a British accent, of course. Mindy cherished her travels and creating lasting memories with those she loved.
Mindy was deeply loved by all who knew her, especially her big brother, who was Mindy's strength and comfort in her times of need; her little sister, who was Mindy's one true soulmate; her best friend, Kelly, who was Mindy's fiercest advocate; and her mother, who believed in Mindy wholeheartedly and loved her unconditionally like only a mother can.
Mindy is survived by her devoted mother, Oneda Doyal of Montrose, CO; her father, Troy Doyal Jr. of Grand Junction, CO; her brother Christopher and sister-in-law Stephanie Doyal of Austin, CO; her sister Charity and brother-in-law James Reiser Jr. of Hayden, CO; grandmother, Letha Olinger of Abilene, TX; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; several nieces and nephews, and the world's sweetest great-niece.
The world is truly a dimmer place without Mindy's light. She was a force of nature who will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Per Mindy's wishes, no services will be held at this time. A celebration of her life will be held with the immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mindy's name can be made to Hope West Hospice in Grand Junction, CO, or Sharing Ministries Food Bank in Montrose, CO.
