Paul Trabue Doyal

Paul Trabue Doyal, 78, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Paul was born on Tuesday, February 18, 1947, in Pensacola, FL. He attended Pensacola Junior College, Livingston University in Livingston, AL and then graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree.

He was a Juvenile Probation Officer for 30 years with the Department of Juvenile Justice. After retirement, he taught middle school science for two years at Workman Middle School and was a Teacher Assistant at Warrington Elementary for years after that.

Paul’s hobbies and interests throughout his life included astronomy, space, vintage antiques, all thing weather related, spending time with his family and his daily drives around town.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Doyal.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Leslie Herring (David); grandson, Ben Richardson and granddaughter, Paige Richardson.

A visitation will be held from 10:30am until a funeral service begins at 11:30am Friday, February 13, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Elder Cheryle Davies officiating. A private graveside will be held at St. John’s Cemetery.

Honorary “Paul Bearers” will be David Herring, Ben Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Nick Bridges, Paul Bridges, Jim Taylor, Mike Taylor, Carey Headley and Van Reed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any non-profit organization of your choice.
