Kathleen Ann Wall Ferguson, age 77, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with her family at her side. Kathleen was born November 15, 1948, to the late John Aloushius and Gladys Gillem Wall in Birmingham, AL.
Kathleen was a devoted mother and grandmother who proudly served in the US Navy as a Dental Technician. She was generous to a fault, was a great cook, and loved music. She would dance the night away if you let her! Kathleen was an avid viewer of old black and white movies. She loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She just loved reading, over the years reading countless books, until her eyes finally gave out on her. As a child she spent her youth traveling in with the Circus with her parents. She had a talent for being unintentionally hilarious in the best way possible.
Kathleen was wildly funny, smart, sensational, unique and loved dearly by so many. She will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
In addition to her parents Kathleen is preceded in death by a sister, Clair McCoy; and a brother, Johnny Wall.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her four children, Stephen Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Kristen Bain, Andrew Ferguson; and her four grandchildren, Devon Farmer, Jordan Bain, Thomas Bain, and James Bain.
A graveside service will be held for Kathleen at 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Barrancas National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, with procession departing at 12:30pm. Active pallbearers will be Stephen Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Andrew Ferguson, Travis Siemer, James Bain, and Thomas Bain.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Foundation for Women Warriors, 1185 Park Center Drive, Ste R, Vista CA 92081.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Grandview Retirement Center, and to all the nurses in PCU, and ICU at Sacred Heart Hospital.
