David Burton Obituary

David E. Burton, age of 62, of Wartrace, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born July 19, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Billy and Dorothy (Chapman) Burton. Besides his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother Frank Burton and sister Rita Cross.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Lynchburg Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Jimmy Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Lynchburg Cemetery.
David enjoyed his time outdoors, sitting in the sun, planting flowers, and fishing. He was a huge UT and Raiders football fan. Above all else, he loved his family but especially loved his family but especially loved his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
David is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wix (Russell); sons, Kyle Burton (Bailey) and Kevin Burton; grandchildren, Austin Prince, Ethan Prince, Abigail Wiz, Kingston Wix, and Silas Burton; brothers, Robert Burton, Kenny Burton (Ginger), and Mike Burton (Anita); sister, Lynda Beaty (John Holden); and sister-in-law, Debbie Burton.
