I was beyond shocked when I heard the news of Donna's passing. Donna was the photographer at my wedding Feb. 16,2008. Although I'd only known her a short time I know what a wonderful woman she was. You will never come across someone as sweet and genuine as Donna.Her family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm just so heart broken over knowing that Donna has passed away. Donna & I had such great times together while taking some pictures together. I do not know what to say..... To her mom & dad that are wonderful people, my condolences are with you. Donna was an Angel sent from heaven just here on earth. You will not find a more caring lady then Donna. I know she is resting now in a Holy place may peace be with her always. Donna, you will be truly missed but always remembered.

I just want to let you know that I loved Donna with all of my heart. She was a very big part of my life and she was a true inspiration, I am sorry for your loss and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are definitely with you all. I know she will be very missed. I am truly sorry for missing everything and it breaks my heart that I didn't get the chance to say goodby. I just found out everything too late to make it. Donna was the photographer @ my wedding in June 2001. I am deeply saddened and my heart goes out to her parents. She was a sweet person with a pretty smile and a big heart.

Donna was a bright spot in the life of everyone she came in contact with. She was a dear friend of Jeannette and myself. They are now in heaven, together again, in the glory of Jesus. Donna will certainly be greatly missed by my entire family. She was as another one of our children. Know that all of Donna's family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Words can not adequately convey what a truly wonderful person she was. I am blessed with my memories of Donna and my times with your family. I am blessed to have known Donna and to have been counted as her friend. I thank God for her and for you, the family that helped shape her into the wonderful being that she was. Donna was the epitome of warmth, kindness and caring. She possessed a quiet strength that allowed her to follow and achieve her dreams. How fitting that the person who preserved so many memories for so many people through her photography leaves so many memories of herself for us to cherish. There are so many times that I can remember her laughing uncontrollably at one thing or another, laughing so hard that tears would stream down her face. There is a place in my heart in which Donna is laughing still. May God's peace be with you all.

Mr and Mrs Bowles,
I am heartbroken and can't even begin to imagine what your family is going through. I visited your home when my sister Bonnie and Donna were roommates at Wingate. I met Donna through Bonnie and we quickly became friends. She was so sincerely sweet, kind and genuine. We had a class together and were always laughing about something. I had not spoken with Donna since I left Wingate but I know if I had ever run in to her it would have been just like old times. Please know that you all have been in my prayers since I found out. My sister and I are unable to make the service in person but know that we are with you all in our hearts. I will always remember Donna as a beautiful person, both inside and out.
