September 18, 1930 - September 16, 2025
Jean Elizabeth Wenger, 94, entered into God's eternal care on September 16, 2025, in Shippensburg, Pa. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Wenger; her father, John Tritt Sr., her mother, Blanche Tritt; and her brother, John Tritt Jr.
Jean is survived by three sons, William Wenger and his wife, Audrey, Nicholas Wenger, and J. Mark Wenger; one sister-in-law, LaVonne Tritt; four grandchildren; and one nephew.
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, 135 Middle Spring Rd. in Shippensburg. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Middle Spring Cemetery. The family invites everyone to a luncheon being held at the church following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jean's name to Middle Spring Presbyterian Church.

My name is Laurel (Mellott)Ott. I lived in the upstairs apartment many years ago first with my cousin Donna then by myself for a while then with my boyfriend husband to be Brian for about a year before we married and move too our home which I still live in today by myself. Jean was always such a wonderful lady. Kind to me and Donna so I just wanted to convey my condolences to you boys especially Mark who I graduated with. My mother just passed 3 years ago and she was 92 years old and I noticed Jean was 94. Again my condolences to you boys and the rest of your family.
