Shannon Ferrell Obituary
July 14, 1977 - February 21, 2022
Shannon Celia Ferrell, 44, of Iron Station, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2022.
Shannon was born July 14, 1977, in North Miami Beach, Fla., to Mindy Page. Shannon later moved to Charlotte, where she graduated from Clover High School. Shannon married the love of her life, Chris Ferrell and they have four children, Terry Ferrell, Hunter Dyson, Megan Sutton and Nicole Ferrell.
Shannon was the most selfless and caring person anyone knew. She loved her family and friends like no other. If you had the honor to be one of them you were blessed beyond measure. She was fire with a little ice, could quote lines from the most obscure movies, recite words to songs no matter the genre and was up for any adventure regardless of the location. She loved animals just as much as she loved her family and friends. She never met one or possible two that she didn't want to take home or love.
Shannon is survived by her husband, Chris; son, Terry Ferrell; daughters, Hunter Dyson, Megan Sutton and Nicole Ferrell; mother, Mindy Page (stepfather, William Page); sisters, Michele Alexander (Robert) and Lisa Wiren; grandmother, Lucille Ferrell "Granny Lucy"; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Cindy Ferrell; sister-in-law, Michelle Robins (Billy); uncle, Bob Wiren; four nephews; one niece; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
A social visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 26, at Durham Memorial Baptist Church, 1601 Toddville Rd. in Charlotte, at 2:30 p.m. A celebration of life followed at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please make a donation to The Lincoln County Humane Society.
