April 3, 1947 - June 11, 2022
Susan Ann Kee Lambert, 75, of Mooresville, passed away Friday, June 11, 2022, at Novant Health Hospital in Huntersville.
She was born April 3, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Fred Kee and Frances Goforth Kee Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Creg Lambert; and stepfather, R.J. Owens.
Susan was a faithful member of Lake City Church. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. Susan was an avid fan of Duke University Blue Devils. She was employed with Mooresville Graded Schools before her retirement.
Susan is survived by her children, Christine Griffin and Brian Lambert; and grandchildren, Chase Morrison, Nicole and Jake Griffin, Brian and Brianna Lambert.
Visitation for family and friends was scheduled to be held Monday, June 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Services were held Tuesday, June 14, at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Spradley officiating. Burial followed at 3:30 p.m., in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma/American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 11796, Charlotte, NC 28220.
