Charles Kelly Jr.

Charles Wade ÔChuck' Kelly, Jr., 67, of Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Roane Medical, Harriman.
He was born April 12, 1946 in Harriman. He was a member of Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood where he served as a Sunday School Teacher. Chuck graduated from Oakdale High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Carson Newman College. He was a former teacher at Rockwood Junior High School and for the Morgan County School Systems and was former Principal of Burrville Elementary School in Morgan County. Chuck was a retired insurance agent with Business Men's Assurance (BMA) with several years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lenice Evans Kelley; brother, Claude Kelley; and sisters, Lynn Huskins and Terry Kelly.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Kelly of Rockwood; children, Iesha Meiste and husband Billy of Rockwood, Selena Wiley of Rockwood and Wade Kelly of Palm Bay, Fla.; grandchildren, Chase Meiste, Zackary Wiley, Kaileigh Wiley and Teana Wiley; father, Rev. Charles W. Kelley, Sr. of Rockwood; sisters, Jeannie Burris and husband John of Chillicothe, Ohio; Sharon Barker and husband Larry of Spring, Tx.; brother, Rev. Greg Kelly and wife Julie of Maryville; and brother-in-law, Lonnie Huskins of Harriman.
The family received friends Friday, June 14, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services followed on 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chad Morrison officiating. Graveside services and interment were held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Harriman City Cemetery in Harriman. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clymersville Baptist Church; P.O.
