Ernest Phillips Obituary
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Phillips; brother, Leon Phillips; sisters, Helen Fullghum, Faye Phillips and two infant sisters. Ernest was retired from Chrysler Motors.
He was a member of the Deer Lodge Congregational Church. He was very active in his community with the Deer Lodge Volunteer Fire Department, the Abner Ross Center and working with the community on the Fourth of July Parade cooking chicken.
He is survived by his son, Mike Phillips of Missouri; sister, Bernice Ross of Jamestown; and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Bro. Frank Kirby officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
Schubert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
