Michael Fugate Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Mary Ellen Fugate; mother-in-law, Alice Meyer; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anita Meyer Fugate; children, Alice Fugate, Kirk Fugate, Michelle Fugate Evans (Rob) and Matthew Fugate; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family received friends Friday, Sept. 26, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Wartburg from noon-2 p.m. The funeral service began at 2 p.m. with Pastor Matt Ward officiating. Interment followed in Clear Creek Ridge Cemetery, 169 Susack Lane in Lancing. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's organization.
Schubert Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
