Reba Shannon Obituary
She was born on June 21, 1935 in the Wolf Creek Community of Scott County.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie England; son, Earl Shannon; and many other relatives.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Amous Shannon; sons, Roger Shannon and wife Katherine of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Ronald Shannon of Helenwood and Dennis Shannon of Sunbright; daughter, Melissa Shannon Griffith and husband Bob of Helenwood; sister, Ann Lowery of Oliver Springs; seven grandchildren, Amy Flick, Lisa Truett, Ashley Bee Hughett, Trevor Bee, Janette Slaven, Monica Clouse and Leslie Chambers; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at Schubert Funeral home in Sunbright, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Brother Larry Waters and Brother Tim Russell officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Sunbright Cemetery.
