Andrew Marvin Obituary

Andrew Scott Marvin, age 36, was surrounded by his loving family when he passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home in Camas, Washington after a courageous battle with Stage 4 Appendiceal/Colon Cancer. He was born on February 12, 1981 in San Jose, California. Andrew lived in San Jose, CA for 34 years before moving to Camas, WA with his wife and children in 2015.

Andrew was born and raised in San Jose, California where he attended Leigh High School (Class of 1999). Growing up, Andrew was an avid soccer player and always spent time outdoors. Throughout middle school, high school and college, Andrew enjoyed snowboarding in Lake Tahoe and going backpacking to Bull Run. He worked at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos, CA for 15 years before moving to Camas, WA with his wife and two children. Spending time with his children and family was Andrew's passion. Andrew also loved working with his hands, cooking, camping, gardening, traveling, and wood working. His favorite places to visit were Lake Tahoe, Carmel, and Maui. It was important for Andrew to enjoy his life to the fullest, and he did.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Jada (Fenichel) Marvin; his two young children, Colton Marvin and McKenna Marvin; his parents, Kathleen (Berlin) Marvin and Gregory Marvin; his brother, Michael Marvin; and his sister-in-law, Ashley (Day) Marvin as well as many other loving family members.

Andrew's Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Campo di Bocce 565 University Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
