Penelope Bell Obituary

Penelope passed from this life into Glory on October 2, 2025 at 5:15 PM. She had her sons and family and her husband Roger of 65 years by her side. Penny was born Penny Sandberg in Laramie, Wyoming. She came to California when she was three years old with her parents. She attended elementary school on the Monterey Peninsula and graduated from Monterey high school in 1957. She married Roger Bell on January 24, 1960. Two weeks after graduating from Kaiser school of nursing in Oakland California. Penny retired from Kaiser Hospital in 2000 in San Jose. She was a Kaiser nurse for most of her life. Penny and Roger attended Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church. They were also part of a missions committee. For their mission work they traveled to Mexico three times and 23 other South American countries. Penny also traveled to Europe to Bosnia Herzegovina on a mission trip. In retirement, Penny was involved with Bible study fellowship in Morgan Hill, Presbyterian Church and attended many missions' conferences with Roger.
She loved her sons and their wives and their six grandchildren.
Her sons include: Roderick "Rod," Michael "Mike," and Roger Gerald "Gerry."
Her 6 grandchildren are: Austin and Catherine, Courtney and Stewart, Sydney and Evan. They were the love of her life.
