Ms. Barbara Jean Whiteside, 68 of Morganton, passed away Thursday September 21, 2023 at UNC Health Blue Ridge. A funeral service will be held Thursday September 28, 2023 at 1 p.m. at New Hope in Christ Church; interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
