Bill Fulton Obituary

Bill G. Fulton, 75, of Icard, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at Catawba Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Fulton was born on Aug. 31, 1931, in Elizabethton, Tenn. to the late Sam Fulton and Fannie Mary Fulton. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Catawba Foam as a maintenance supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Katherine, of the home; two sons, Lynn and David; two daughters, Lisa and Tina; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Catawba Memorial Park with military rites by American Legion Post No. 48 of Hickory. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese. Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese is serving the family.
