Ms. Mattie L. Brown, 71 of Morganton, died Thursday May 4, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Corpening Memorial Chapel of McCain Funeral Home & Cremations; interment of the urn will follow at Olive Hill Cemetery.
