Michelle Pressley Obituary
Michelle was born on Aug. 1, 1963, in Cleveland County, to the late Mike Pressley and Barbara Fredell.
She was attending Gloryland Baptist Church in Hildebran and had previously been employed in the furniture industry.
Michelle's favorite poem was "Footprints," and she often wrote, "But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have been only one set of footprints in the sand" to which the Lord replied, "My child, the times you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand are the times when I have carried you."
Survivors include two daughters, Regina Tipton and her husband, Josh, of Drexel and Kendrea Powell and her husband, Dustin, of Drexel; one son, Bryan Pressley of Cherryville; brother, Matt Fredell of Cherryville; her "little girls softball team" of grandchildren, Chloe Pressley, Sadie Pressley, Addison Lowman, Graylen Tipton and Keeley Aldridge; and her special father figure, Grady Burnette.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Grady Burnette officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Valdese Cancer Center, PO Box 700, Valdese, NC 28690.

I had the privilage of taking care of your Mom twice while she was in the hospital. She was a true trooper. She will be missed and I wanted to know that she touched my heart. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
