Adrienne Hogue Jenkins

Adrienne Hogue Jenkins, of Cape Coral, Florida, June 11, 1936 to October 18, 2022, went to be with her Savior following an extended illness, with her husband Byron at her side.She was born Adrienne Lee Hogue, the youngest of four children to Clarke and Mildred Lee Hogue in Lorain. She earned herBachelor's and Master's degrees in Education at Ohio University. Adrienne taughtsecond grade in Athens County, Ohio, and later was a guidance counselor for Lee County, Florida schools. She was passionate about children, books, and learning, she was outgoing, and had a zest for life. She will be deeply missed by her family.Adrienne is survived by her husband, Byron Jenkins, Cape Coral, Florida; daughters Kimberly(Tom) Isner, Galena, Ohio; Melissa Brown, Athens, Ohio; Jacqueline Brown, Athens, Ohio; Jennifer (Jeff) Adolphs, Sunbury, Ohio; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, a sister, Beverly Hogue Woodburn, Cape Coral, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Clarke Hogue II and Douglas Hogue.A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society of Cape Coral.
